ALL You Need to Know About DIP POWDERS

If you haven’t already heard, dip powder manicures are creating quite a buzz in the beauty world. Even if the trend isn't exactly new, it only recently began dominating social media feeds and become the prime choice for the nail salons. So, what makes dip powder special that everybody got crazy about it?

SO, WHAT ARE DIP POWDERS NAILS?

Dip Powder is a safe, healthy alternative to acrylics and gel polish. It's a combination of a glue liquid and powder that hardens when it hits the air.

Dip nails don't require UV/LED light and are typically a much quicker process to apply. Also, soak off easier than gel polish, leaving your nails healthy and beautiful after removal.

Unlike traditional manicures,  dip powder can hold up for a whole month. Impressive, ha? Sounds like a miracle sent from God that we all want to be part of.

OKAY, SO ARE DIP POWDERS BETTER THAN GELS?

In the battle between dip powder and gel, you wonder which one is better? Well, that depends on what you’re looking for.

If you’re confused by the difference between dip powder and gel, you’re definitely not alone. The main difference you’ll notice is in texture - gels are a little smoother than powder, and durability - gels will last a solid two weeks, but powders can last three or more weeks.

HOW DO YOU APPLY DIP POWDER?

First, apply a thin layer of Glam Powder Base Coat to the entire nail surface. Then simply dip your nail in a colored powder of your choice. Once the dipping is done, file & buff the nail, then apply Glam Powder Activator. Finally, apply 2 thin layers of Top Coat for a glossy shine! And boom you have perfect strong nails!

HOW DO YOU REMOVE DIP POWDERS NAILS?

The removal process it involves soaking your nails in an acetone solution and wrapping your fingertips with aluminium foils.

Once all the manicure has loosened, remove the foil and the acetone-soaked cotton ball. Take a dry cotton ball and push-off the manicure gently.

After all the Glam Powder manicure has been removed, it’s time to nourish those nails! ! Keep them in the best shape through the entire process with cuticle oil and hand cream.
